Practical policies
Clear expectations before your session.
These policies explain how scheduling, changing river conditions, participation requirements, and information handling work.
Weather, river conditions, and cancellations
eFoil lessons are weather- and river-dependent. Foil the James may change the time or location, pause a lesson, reschedule, or cancel when wind, storms, visibility, water level, debris, access, equipment condition, or another safety factor makes the session unsuitable.
Payment, refund, rescheduling, and late-arrival terms will be provided in writing before payment is taken.
Participation and safety
Riders must follow instructor directions, use required safety equipment, accurately disclose relevant health or mobility concerns, and sign the current participant waiver before going on the water. Participation may be declined or stopped when a rider cannot safely continue.
Riders should be comfortable in open water. Age, size, equipment fit, and other participation requirements are confirmed before a lesson is accepted.
